ACID CANNES has unveiled its highly anticipated poster for 2021.
The annual program, running from July 7- 15 during the Festival de Cannes, is composed of nine features selected by a committee of filmmakers. This year’s Cannes program marks the beginning of a beautiful adventure, with each film to be supported by the programming filmmakers and the ACID team. ACID guides each film in its search for distributors, its programming in theatres, and with its submissions to festivals. Fourteen filmmakers are currently screening hundreds of movies. The 2021 official program will be revealed on June 1st.
Among directors whose works have been featured in the past incude Stéphane Batut, Lucas Belvaux, Kaouther Ben Hania, Serge Bozon, Emilie Brisavoine, Djinn Carrénard, Vincent Dieutre, Rachid Djaïdani, Philippe Faucon, Jean-Charles Fitoussi, Benoit Forgeard, Alain Gomis, Emmanuel Gras, Arnaud et Jean-Marie Larrieu, Patricia Mazuy, Ursula Meier, Avi Mograbi, Yolande Moreau, Nathan Nicholovitch, Ioanis Nuguet, Nicolás Pereda, Gilles Porte, Clément Schneider, Pierre Schoeller, Claire Simon, Justine Triet, and others.
