Sony Pictures’ AFFIRM Films and Mucho Mas Media have released the official trailer for Live Like That, an inspirational drama inspired by a true story and set to open exclusively in theaters nationwide on February 26, 2027.
Written and directed by Dito Montiel and produced by Javier Chapa, the film centers on a family whose world is changed by an unimaginable loss. As their faith is tested, they make the extraordinary choice to answer grief not with anger, but with forgiveness—setting in motion a path toward healing within a community fractured by decades of conflict.
What begins as an intensely personal tragedy grows into a story of compassion, reconciliation and collective hope. Live Like That explores how love, faith and human connection can illuminate even the darkest circumstances, while honoring the enduring impact of one young man’s legacy.
The ensemble cast includes Esai Morales (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning), Roselyn Sanchez (Act of Valor), Cameron Arnett (The Forge), Ian Casselberry (The Odyssey), Richard Cabral (End of Watch), Carlos Pratts (McFarland, USA) and Jesse Garcia (Flamin’ Hot).
The newly released trailer offers a first look at the emotionally resonant film, which brings together an acclaimed cast and a message of unity at a time when stories of empathy and healing feel especially urgent.
